Bijoux Performing Live $5 cover

Bijoux is a band that performs music for all age groups. The Bijoux repertoire includes music from the 1930′s to the contemporary “hits” of today. Sue Larsen – Guitar/Bass/Vocals is a veteran to the stage as an entertainer, singer, songwriter and musician. Specializing in music that is familiar to all and spanning over seven decades. She started as a soloist playing guitar and singing in N.Y.C. clubs and cabarets. She studied voice for over twelve years with Maestro Carlo Menotti, former teacher of Laura Branigan, Harry Belefonte and Tony Bennett. To her credit she has appeared or been featured in numerous cable shows (The Guitar Show, Billy Shears), radio spots, (WPLG, WRNW, WGCH), and publications including The Journal News, The New York Post, and The New York Times. She has performed at such venues as Eisenhower Hall at West Point Military Academy, Playland Amusement Park, Mt. Airy Lodge Resort, The Park Avenue Armory, and in Auxbourg, Germany. She is one of the founding members of BIJOUX, which made its debut in 1994. Elleen Nicita – Keyboards/Vocals career in music is varied. She is a performer, producer, writer and conductor. She has conducted the Mt. Vernon All-City Chorus as well as the North Salem Chorus. Her chorus has participated in the highly regarded High Notes Festival and received superior ratings. She has collaborated with concert bands as well as marching bands. Her teaching career spans over 25 years in three different school districts in the NY area. Steve Buonamano – Drums/Percussion has been performing for audiences throughout the tri-state area. His teachers, while still in high school, recruited him to play with them, and he continued that practice of performing through college and beyond. Early on, he performed with the nationally acclaimed Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge. He was also a session player for Pizarro Record Productions and recorded jingles for NBC, worked with Paul Simon, and later recorded for CBS. He studied modern jazz and rock with famed studio session player, Steve Gadd, (Mr. Gadd has recorded with The Bee Gees, Eric Clapton, Steely Dan, Chick Corea, Kate Bush, and many more)
